Mary Susan Bourgeois

Mary Bourgeois, 66, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 19, 2018, at her home surrounded by family.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Dr. Clark Bosher will officiate. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mary Susan Creppel Bourgeois, the ninth of 13 children, was born July 29, 1951, in New Orleans, La., to the late Adam Ornes and Felicia Touchard Creppel. She married William “Bill” Bourgeois in New Orleans on June 27, 1970, and they began a beautiful life together. After moving to Weatherford, Mary worked for many dedicated years as the church secretary at Victory Baptist Church, where she and Bill were members. Most recently Mary was a member of Willow Park Baptist Church where she regularly attended with her family. She loved to cook, walk on trails, read, garden, and spend time in Bible devotions, but most of all she dearly loved her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, William “Bill” Bourgeois of Weatherford; daughter, Staci Lawson of Weatherford; son, Billy Bourgeois and his wife, Tiffany, of Scottsdale, AZ.; grandson, Jack Lawson; brothers and sisters, Lanny Creppel, Ornes and Sharon Creppel, Pete and Joy Creppel, Adam and Donis Creppel, David and Kathy Creppel, Ann and Bob Jones, Clinton and Paula Creppel, Nancy and Roger Butler, Richard and Bambi Creppel, Barry and Kim Creppel, Felicia and Doug Huffman, and Chris and Debbie Creppel; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and church friends.
