Mary Virginia Johnson

Mary Virginia Johnson, 86, a life long resident of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, December 01, 2009 in a local care facility.  Mary was born August 7, 1923, the youngest of five children, to Bell and Martha Mason.
 
Mrs. Johnson retired after sixteen years of loyal service to Grace Cartwright.  She was dedicated to those she loved, often putting others before self.
 
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Johnson Sr.; daughter, Martha Buckner; son, Curtis Johnson Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica Johnson, Josh Johnson, Bianca Buckner, Mason Buckner, Ebonne Buckner and Iesha Buckner; niece and nephew, Deborah and William Mason and many great grandchildren and cousins.
 
A funeral will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 5, 2009 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled from 6 PM to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
