Matthew and his family had just been to a Partner’s Conference at Hagee Ministries, where he met Pastor John who asked him if he was a pastor. Matt told him “No” and Pastor John said, “Are you sure?” Matthew talked to people about Jesus every opportunity he had. He recently had started his own roadside service business where he said he felt like Superman every time he went to help someone, and it gave him an opportunity to talk about Jesus. On a daily basis he had customers call and let him know they had reached their destination safely and to thank him again. He even had the opportunity to pray with several customers.
Matthew's favorite hobby, by far, was flying. He had his private pilot's license and flew every opportunity he had. His heart's desire was to one day own his own plane so he could take Pastors up for free of charge to pray over their city. His other favorite hobby was fishing with his children, DeAwna and Devin, and his second Dad, Dale Stam.
Matthew loved his family. His wife, Breeawna was his best friend and love of his life. He had been so happy to be home with her and his daughter, DeAwna, and son, Devin, for the last four months. Spending time with his family was always important to him.
