Maudelene Peoples

Maudelene Peoples, 83, of Weatherford, left this life on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at her daughter’s residence in Arlington. Maudelene was born August 13, 1929 in Weatherford to Louie and Katherine Welch. She was a homemaker, loved going to Winstar, bowling and was a member of Prince Memorial CME where she sang in the choir. Maudelene married Robert L. People Sr. on September 25, 1954,  they where deployed to Germany where Maudelene taught kindergarten. She is preceded in death by her brother James Louie Welch.  She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert  Peoples Sr., children, Wayne C. Peoples of Weatherford, Erna R. Lacy of Arlington, Robert L. Peoples Jr and wife Rosemary of Fort Worth, sister, Wanda J. Sanders and husband Carl of Fort Worth, six grandchildren, Marcus, Briana, Quentin, Wayne Jr., Desiree and Timeshia, six great grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews.
 

Funeral: 10:00 am Saturday, January 19, 2013 in the Galbreaith Pickard
Funeral Chapel with interment in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation 6-8pm
Friday.
