Maurine Hopkins Bunting

Maurine Hopkins Bunting, 97, of Weatherford died Wednesday November 8, 2006 in a local nursing center. Born December 25, 1908 in Cleburne, Texas she was a resident of Tarrant County for many years before moving to Weatherford. Maurine was a retired secretary for TCU, a member of University Church of Christ formerly West Berry Church of Christ and the Sweet Adeline’s.  Maurine loved to sew, won many sewing contest and was a seamstress for Cloth World making their display garments. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Bunting in 1982. Maurine was survived by her daughter, Carol Cook Richmond and husband Jim of Weatherford; grandson, Jeff Cook of Lewisville; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service: 10:00 AM  Friday, November 10, 2006 at Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:00 PM on Thursday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangement.
