Melba Jean Harrison, 64, of Weatherford, went home with the Lord Friday, September 29, 2006.Funeral: 10 AM Monday, October 2, 2006 in Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.Burial: East Greenwood.Mrs. Harrison was born May 12, 1942 in Sherman, Texas to Ulys and Annie Mae Gregg. She married Norman Phelps Harrison November 6, 1958 in Ropesville, Texas. They moved to Weatherford in 1964 where she worked as the bookkeeper for her husband until he retired. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Tracy Powers and grandson, Justin Powers. Survivors: husband, Norman Harrison; daughters, Jeannie and husband Gary Bornholdt of Weatherford and Kim and husband Aubry Bigham of Crowley; sister, Mary Lee Hriz of Waco; granddaughters, Amber and husband Jim O’Donald, Sheena, April and Donna Bigham and Michelle and husband Chris Dietrich; grandson, Brandon Bornholdt and 8 great grandchildren.
