Melvin Doyle Barnes

Melvin Doyle Barnes, age 88, passed away Wednesday, January 07, 2015 at his residence in Millsap.   Mr. Barnes was born on December 9, 1926 in Kenefic, Oklahoma. He was an army veteran, a retired plant manager for Hydralics Inc. and was a rancher. Melvin was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, he loved his family and supported his children and grandchildren in athletics and all endeavors.
Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife; Charleta Barnes of Millsap, daughter, Deborah Pilkington of Gatesville, TX, sons, Mike Barnes and wife Sundee of Willow Park, Mark Barnes and wife Karen of Millsap, sister, Oteka Sprague of Austin, brother, Billy Bruce Barnes of Caddo, OK, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.


Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9th from 6-8 p.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
