Michael Byron Patrick, 79, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, January 2, 2020, at his home.
A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at Central Christian Church, 1602 S. Main Street, in Weatherford.
Michael was born on July 23, 1940, in Weatherford, Texas, to Byron and Vera Patrick. He retired from Lockheed/Martin after a successful career as a programmer. Michael later earned his Masters’ in Divinity in Theology. He pastored Woodson Christian Church for 21 years. Michael was a 40 year member of Central Christian Church in Weatherford.
Michael is survived by his family - his sister, Cynthia Bergman; nieces and nephews, David Bergman, Martha Roos, and Stephen Bergman and Patrick Rucker; great-nieces and nephews, Amy Zachmeyer, Angela Shak, Christina Spingola, Sophia Purvis, Emma Roos, Owen, Jack, and Michael Bergman; and great-great niece and nephews, David Duran, Conlan and Kaydence Shak, and Hayden, Hudson, and Holden Purvis.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Blanche Rucker.
