Michael Lawerence Flint, 54, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, in Fort Worth.

Memorial service: Will be held at a later date at Oak Ridge Church of Christ, 4895 I-20 Service Road North, Willow Park, Texas, followed by interment in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Michael Lawerence Flint was born Oct. 24, 1963, in Honolulu, Hawaii, son of the late Carl Willis Morgan and Janet Louise Hockman. He made his career in logistics with the military and honorably served our country in the Army National Guard. Michael had many hobbies, among them were reading, watching movies, playing war games on his PlayStation, and his weapons. But more than anything, he dearly loved his family.

Michael was preceded in death by a son, Justin; a grandson, Joseph Flint; his father, Carl Morgan; and brother, Jonathan Morgan.

Survivors: wife of 17 years, Illana Flint of Azle; sons, Samuel Marinelli, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bradley Flint and wife, Kailee, of Bedford, Paul Boden of Azle, Raymond Lane of Azle, and Rustin Shirley of Dallas; mother, Janet Hockman, sister, Karla Browne, and nephew, Chad Browne, all of Fort Worth; step-mother, Jeannette Morgan; and a host of loving family and friends.
