Michael Lee McMillen

Michael Lee McMillen was called home Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas, February 8, 1951, to Glenn Thurston McMillen and Dorothy Bingham McMillen. Mike loved the Lord and was an active member of Victory Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran with six years of service. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone with 33 years of service. He was active in Boy Scouts for over 20 years. As Scoutmaster, he led his two sons and many other boys to the rank of Eagle Scout. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He had a great sense of humor and a smile for everyone he met. Mike had a loving marriage with his wife of 51 years. He was proud of his two sons and the men they grew to be. He loved his three grandchildren and had a special relationship with each one. Mike will be missed forever and always.

He is survived by his wife, Jodie McMillen of Weatherford, Texas; sons, Jason McMillen (Kim) of Benbrook, Texas and Matt McMillen (Leslie) of Weatherford, Texas; mother, Dorothy McMillen of Joshua, Texas; sister, Glenda Bain (Dwayne) of Hurst, Texas; brother, David McMillen of Hurst, Texas; grandchildren, Emily, Addison, and Kaleb; a special sister-in-law, several nieces and nephews, many dear friends, and his faithful dog, Summer.
