Michael Patrick Scoggins

Michael Patrick Scoggins, 63, of Fort Worth, passed away on March 14, 2020.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 18th, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Prior visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Burial will be held at Oakland Cemetery.

Michael was born on March 27, 1956, in Refugio, Texas, to Corinne Dodson Byers and Merle Scoggins. From a young age, his mother knew he was a mechanical and musical genius. Michael was always tinkering with something whether it be cars or electronics. He had the kindest heart and enjoyed volunteering. Michael took at least two visits to the botanical gardens each month due to his love for flowers and nature. He will be remembered as not only a son and brother, but also as a best friend.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Merle Scoggins.

Survivors include his mother, Corinne Byers; sister, Jane Moltz (Mike); brothers, Andy Scoggins (Janet) and David Scoggins; nephews, Ryan Scoggins, Stephen Messimer, Caleb Messimer, and Randall Messimer; as well as a host of loving friends.
