Michelle Rae Adair Leatherman, age 59, departed from this life on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Born January 6, 1966, in Weatherford, Texas, she was the youngest of 6 children born to Samuel Ray & Lydia Adair.
Michelle graduated from Weatherford High School in 1984.
For those that knew her best, she was quick witted, always giving, funny and had the ability to make you laugh. In her prime she was a good athlete, she enjoyed playing softball and shooting pool, she also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys.
She worked for 25 years at CD Hartnett Company in the position of Inventory Control.
She loved and relished in being around her family; her husband Greg, daughter, Jessica and grandchildren, Aubrey, Cooper, and also her siblings, Mike, Tony, Gary, Caroldean and Geraldine.
Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lydia Adair, her stepfather, Lonnie Reynolds, and her older brother, Gary Joe Adair.
Michelle is survived by her husband of 32 years, Greg, her daughter, Jessica Leatherman, and her beloved grandchildren, Aubrey Leatherman and Cooper Grissom. She is also survived by her siblings; Michael W. Adair, and family friend Letha Adair, brother, Tony Adair and wife, Debbie, sister, Caroldean Fink and husband, Rob, sister, Geraldine Robinson and husband Mickey. She is also remembered by her special longtime friends, Lou Ann Watson and Lisa Hamilton, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm St., Weatherford, Texas, on March 27, 2025, from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Services will be conducted at the same Chapel on Friday, March 28, at 10am, with burial to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery.
