Mildred Elizabeth Minor

Mildred Elizabeth Minor, age 89, of Weatherford, died Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2011 in a local nursing facility.  Born April 12, 1922 in Rusk, Texas, a resident of Weatherford for many years.  She was a homemaker, owner of Doug Shoes for 19 years in Weatherford and she was a member of the Willow Park Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include her husband, Dour Minor of Weatherford; daughter, Debbie Merrill and husband, Gene of Weatherford; five grandchildren, Paul Minor, Garland Smith, John Merrill, Kimberly Merrill and three great grandchildren, Richard, Gary and Kathy.
 
Funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in Curtis Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the funeral home.
