Mildred Elizabeth Sharp

  Mildred Elizabeth McFarland Sharp, better known as Judy or Maw; passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. She was born March 22, 1931, to Harvey and Edna McFarland, in Munday, Texas. She married the love of her life, H.C. (Pokeye) Sharp, on April 19, 1948. Mildred will be remembered for her love of cooking, baking, faithfully reading her bible, and going to church. You could call on Mildred day or night and ask her to pray for you or with you and she would gladly. 

  Mildred leaves the following behind to cherish her memory, her children, Van Sharp; Glenda Roberts and her husband, Bill and Georgia Richards and her husband, Don; grandchildren, Chad, Dan, Shana, Shannon, Kristy, Bridget, Vanessa, Robbie, and Rebecca; 11 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; brother, Wilbert McFarland; sisters, Mary Towles and Maxine Moore; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her church family at New Faith Baptist Church. Mildred was preceded in death by her beloved husband, H.C.; her parents, Harvey and Edna; brothers, Travis and Jim; sister, Patsy and her daughter, Marleta.

  Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  A graveside service will be Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at Spring Creek Cemetery, Weatherford Texas.
