Mildred Mae Marshall

  Mildred Mae Todd Lewis Marshall, age 93, of Weatherford, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Saturday, March 18, 2017. 

  Mildred was born January 22, 1924, in Azle, to H.L. and Winnie Todd. Mildred proudly owned and operated The Malt Shop of Weatherford for over thirty years. She relished the times spent during Bible Study, playing dominoes, and going to garage sales to add to her antique collection.

  Mildred is survived by her son in law, Charles Gifford; sisters, Ann Davis, Mary Durham, and Martha Boecker and her husband, Bill; sister in law, Wanda Todd; niece, Linda Sears Duncan, who helped take care of Mildred in the later years of her life’s journey; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

  Mildred was preceded in death by husbands, Bryant Lewis and Guy Marshall; daughter, Melba Gifford; parents, H.L. and Winnie Todd; sister, Juanita Sears; brothers, Glenn “Boots” Todd, Ray Todd, Junior Todd, and Bill Todd.

  Graveside service for Mildred at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Tin Top Cemetery, with visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. James Plowman will officiate. 

  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations sent to Meals On Wheels, The American Cancer Society, or The American Diabetes Association.
