Modell Charlene Dowling

Modell Charlene Dowling, 86, of Brock, passed away December 24, 2018, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, December 28, at Brock United Methodist Church, in Brock, Texas. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel Thursday evening.
Charlene was born July 30, 1932 in Ryan, Oklahoma to C.O. Lovett and Mollie Jarnigin Lovett. She worked for Harry’s Green House for 50 years and was a pianist/organist for Brock United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Charlene was greatly loved by her children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren as well as greatly respected in the community.
Charlene is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dowling; parents; sisters, Marcell Cole and Lou Ann Smith; and great-granddaughter, Peyton Eddlemon.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Thompson (Jim); son, Charles Dowling (Nancy); grandchildren, Jamie Gentsch (Brad), Jennifer Eddlemon, Misti Havens (Henry), Randy Dowling (Brandy), Justin Dowling (Scarlett), Charla Wilcox (Brandon), Chelsea Reidland (Mark), and Taylor Orr (Leslie); 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
