Mozelle Weghorst

Mozelle Weghorst, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away on Thursday, September 24.  She was born in Joaquin, Texas on June 30, 1928 and was married to Herbert “Weggie” Weghorst for 61 years.  He preceded her in death in June of this year.
 
She is survived by her children James Weghorst of Weatherford, Merilyn Vantine of Weatherford and Sherilyn and John Hooks of Houston, her grandchildren, Mandye and David Bowers of  Fort Worth, Brad and Carol Vantine of Weatherford, Scott Vantine of Weatherford, Gregory, Stephen, Mark and Stephanie Weghorst of Fort Worth and DeeDee and Wallis Marsh of Houston.  Also surviving are her great-grandchildren Christopher and Aaron Bowers, Hayley and Mia Vantine and Jack and Julia Marsh.  Surviving brothers are Bobby Ricks, Bill Ricks, and O’Neal Ricks.
 
Visitation will be Monday, September 28, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel from 6 – 8 PM.  The funeral will be held Tuesday, September 29, at 10 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1500 Ball Street, Weatherford, Texas.  Memorials may be made to the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, 2777 Stemmons Freeway, Suite 700, Dallas, TX 75207 or the building fund for Trinity Lutheran Church.
