Nancy Joann "Jodee" McCullar

Joann “Jodee” McCullar, 74, of Weatherford left this life Monday, September 3, 2007, in a Weatherford nursing home. Born January 21, 1933, in Oklahoma City, she was a resident of Eufaula and Checotah, Oklahoma before moving to Texas. Jodee was a very loving mother, doting grandmother, ever caring sister, teacher and friend. She was a member of Lighthouse Christian Center in Eastern Oklahoma and a retired Sales Associate for Wal-Mart in Checotah, OK. She will be greatly missed by those in her lifetime she touched. Oh, how she loved Church and teaching about our Lord! She loved her “kids” that she taught for so many years in Sunday School, Bible School and Children’s Church. They are who she missed the most as her health began to fail and she could no longer able to be with them.  

Jodee was preceded in death by her parents, James and Patricia Childers, and her husband, Perry McCullar. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sheri Goss and husband Patrick of Weatherford; sons; Steven Morris and wife Tina of Oklahoma City and Bobby Morris of Indianapolis, IN; sister; Jewel Joyce of Ohio; brother, Jimmy Childers and wife Bonnie of Harrah, OK; grandchildren, Kourtney Goss of Weatherford, Joshua Morris of Washington, Jacob Morris of Oklahoma City, ShaDow and ShyLow Morris of Tennessee.  Many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly, but can’t wait to see her again one day in Heaven.     

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in the Lighthouse Christian Center on Eunice Burns Dr. Eufaula. Memorials may be made to the Education Fund c/o Lighthouse Christian Fund, 918-689-7757.  Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
