Naomi Grace Sampley, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, departed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at age 90. She was born April 14, 1933, in Marlow, Oklahoma to Thomas M. Eaton and Vulia Alta Brown. With Naomi's loving and nurturing spirit, she opened her home as day care for local children. She generously shared her heart and wisdom while always remaining thoughtful of the challenges others faced. Before retiring from day care service, she left an unforgettable mark on each child's life. In her golden years, Naomi found solace in the beautiful moments shared with her family.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Alta Eaton; beloved husband, Weldon Sampley; daughter, Debra Fay Fielding; and brothers, Lewis Vernon Eaton, Bobby Gene Eaton, and Delton M. Eaton.
Naomi is survived by her son, Frank Donald Freeman and wife, Karen of Aledo, Texas; daughter, Naomi Joy Westbrook of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Delma Kay Hull of Weatherford, Texas; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by those who were blessed to have known her.
