Nita Williams

  Anita “Nita” Williams, 82, of Weatherford, died on Saturday July 21, 2007, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Born December 24, 1924, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Clarence and Dezzie Wells, she was a resident of Weatherford for many years and a homemaker 

  She was preceded in death by both parents, and two sisters, Katheryn and Virgina and husband,   Albert “Curley” Williams.  

  Nita is survived by her two daughters, Judy Putnel of Weatherford and Janye Choate and husband, Bob of Weatherford; four sisters, Bobbye Huntsucker and husband, Clayton of Granbury, Joye Rogan of Rockport, Barbara Adams and husband, Jack of Weatherford and Gayle Bevers of Weatherford; four grandchildren, Misti Glasscock, Shane Colliflower and Tanya, Lynda Cronin and husband, Joe, Jerridee Austin and Mark; and 14 great grandchildren, Jimmy, Brady, Bailey, Sarah, Cason, Krista, Shayla, Lyndsey, Jori, Lauren, Brandon, Dakota, Dylan, and Micah.  

 Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2007, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
