Norma Jean Hovis

Norma Jean Hovis, 90, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 from cardiac complications at Martin Crest Assisted Living in Weatherford, Texas.  Jean was born August 31, 1924 in Mountain Grove, Missouri to James Richard and Ethel Matilda Orr. Jean was a longtime resident of Arlington, TX; where she and her husband, Dwight, owned Town North Ben Franklin and Jean’s Hallmark. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 70 years, James Dwight Hovis of Weatherford; daughter, Ann Sonnier and husband Kent of Weatherford; son, Jim Hovis and wife Jill of Tulsa, OK; four grandsons, Jeff Jones and wife Amy of Weatherford, Jon Jones of Weatherford, Dr, Paul Hovis of Baltimore, MD and Scott Hovis of Austin; three great grandchildren, Justin Jones,  Paige Shirley and Jagger Jones all of Weatherford; three nieces, Jo Beth Vines of Mansfield, Dana Silcox of London, England and Becky Morrison of Branson, MO.
Jean found a deep, loving place in the heart of her husband, her children, grandchildren and all who knew her.  She will be sorely missed.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday December 8, 2014 at Grace Community Fellowship in Weatherford.
