Norman Dale Measures

Norman Dale Measures, 67, of Weatherford passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Santa Fe Healthcare after a lengthy illness. Graveside service: 10 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2017 at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Dale was born November 23, 1949 in Weatherford to Vernon and Lamarylis Norman Measures. He graduated from WHS in 1970 and attended Weatherford Jr. College. Dale loved animals, oil painting, reading and listening to music from the late ‘40s and ‘50s. Dale was a member of the Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marilyn Dobbs and a niece, Lori McReynolds. Dale is survived by his sister, Judy McReynolds and husband Fred; brother in law, Jack Dobbs; nephews, Justin Dobbs and wife Shannon, Tommie McReynolds; niece, Kim Dobbs; great nephews, Tyler and Chandler Dobbs all of Weatherford and Peaster; his loving family and care givers at Santa Fe Healthcare, where Dale called home for almost 21 years.
