Oleta Forstina (Havins) Campbell

Oleta Forstina (Havins) Campbell,
91, of Weatherford, passed Sunday,
January 18, 2009.
Oleta was born in Breckenridge,
Texas on September 6, 1917.
The daughter of the late William Richard Havins and Viola Geraldine
(Harrington) Havins of Stephens County, Oleta was baptized at Necessity
Baptist Church.  She was a long time resident of
Weatherford.  She and her husband Charles
were members of the American Legion for 33 years.  She was a homemaker and food service manager
for several local establishments including Chief’s, Woody’s and The American
Legion.
 Oleta was preceded in death by her
husband, Charles Campbell; son, William S. Bankston and two sisters, Ola
Beatrice and Gladys Eva.
 Survivors include two grandsons,
Brian and Jason Bankston of St. Bernard Parish; two great grandchildren; stepdaughter,
Peggy McDonald of Clearfield, Utah
and three step-grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be at 2 PM Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral
Chapel.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM
Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will
be in Memory Gardens.
