Opal Laverne Pritchard

Opal LaVerne Pritchard, 79, of Weatherford, passed away in a Fort Worth hospital Saturday, May 29, 2010.  Opal was born September 10, 1930 to Hettie Alice and Otho Carl Wright. Mrs. Pritchard was a member of South Main Church of Christ.  She joined in the monthly meeting with The Lunch Bunch.  She was also active in Parker County Democrats.  Preceded in death by husband, Bernarr Nolan Pritchard and two children; Christy Paul and Alex Pritchard.
Mrs. Pritchard was survived by daughter, Terri Stover and husband Robert of Weatherford and son, Barry Pritchard and wife Kelly of Austin.  Six grandchildren, Ricky, Andrew, Madison, Hannah, Molly and Riley and a great grandson, Hagen also survive.
A funeral will be held at 10 AM Friday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the DFW National Cemetery.
