Orval Dwight Moore

Orval Dwight Moore, 84, of Azle passed away, Friday, November 23, 2018. Funeral service: 2 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 4-6 p.m., Sunday November 25, at the funeral home.
Orval was born February 28, 1934 in Gladewater, Texas to Adrian and Eva McClendon Moore. He was a route salesman for Borden Foods and later worked for Phillips Water Hauling. Orval was a member of North Side Baptist Church, he enjoyed fishing, camping and baking and loved to spend time with family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Dwight Moore, granddaughter Allison as well as his siblings, Elton, Troy, Sherry and Blanche. Orval leaves behind his devoted wife of 63 years, Ernestine; daughters, Janese Hood and husband Brent of Azle and Amanda Evans and husband Craig of North Hollywood, CA; daughter-in-law, Beverly Moore of Burleson; brother, Delmar Moore of Lamesa; grandchildren, Brandon, Andrea, Carrie, Dillon, Ciarra and Connor; great grandchildren, Autumn, Blake and Mya; and many extended family and friends.
