Orville Wayne Ribble, 88, of Weatherford, Texas, left this earth for his Heavenly Home on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Medical City Weatherford. Orville was born on February 25, 1933, in Graham, Texas, to O. C. and Ruth Butler Ribble.

Orville was a long-time educator and principal, retiring in 1992 after a combined 32 years with the Weatherford, Springtown, and Mineral Wells school districts. He was a member of the East Side Church of Christ and was also an Army veteran. His hobbies included: piloting and farming.

In addition to his parents, Orville was preceded in death by two brothers, Portis and Sam Ribble.

Orville is survived by his wife, Frances Ribble, of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Ronda Ribble of Weatherford, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Ribble and Donal Hinely of Tennessee, and Lisa (Mark) Boggis of Maryland; son and daughter-in-law, Eric (Mica) Ribble of Weatherford, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Leota (Sam) Means of Austin, Texas; and grandchildren, Fergus Hinely of Tennessee, Jason and Heather Boggis of Maryland, and Rhett, Triton, Knox, and Piper Ribble of Weatherford, Texas.

There will be a private burial at East Greenwood Cemetery and a memorial service to be held at a later date.
