Pamela Gail Fuqua

Pamela Gail Fuqua, 58, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Pamela was born on February 14, 1964, in Weatherford, Texas, to Ira Calvin Lyon and Mary Jo (Lambert) Lyon. She married her beloved husband, Terry, in 1983. They started a family and raised two sons. She faithfully worked for Power Services for 35 years. But that achievement pales in comparison to how wonderful of a person she was, and how much joy she brought to everyone who was blessed enough to know her through her kindness and gentleness. Pamela had a soft spot in her heart for animals. She had a loving, gentle nature, and was the best wife and mother that a family could dream of having in their lives. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Pamela is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Terry Fuqua; sons, Matthew Fuqua and Joshua Fuqua; siblings; Darrell Lyon and wife, Melissa, and Tommy Lyon and wife, Sandy; and numerous loving family and friends.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Mary Jo Lyon.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2022, at Aledo Brown Cemetery, in Aledo, Texas.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
