Pamela Jean Homsher

Pamela Jean Homsher, 74, passed peacefully from this life on Friday, December 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Pamela was born December 23, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas to Sherman Ellis Ferguson and Belva F. (Morland) Ferguson. She married the love of her life, William, and together they had three children.

Pamela spent many years working as a licensed vocational nurse extending diligent care to her patients. She retired from her nursing career from Wedgewood Nursing Home in Fort Worth. Pamela was a member of North Side Baptist Church and participated in many church activities. With her adventurous spirit, Pamela possessed an incredible passion for traveling by motorcycle. She and her husband made many memories exploring the countryside on their adventures. Pamela's sweet spirit will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Pamela is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, William R. Homsher of Weatherford, Texas; three children, William S. Homsher of Weatherford, Texas, Greg A. Homsher of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mia Woods and husband, Shane of Weatherford, Texas; three grandchildren, Billy Castillo, Micayla Woods, and Bella Woods; and two siblings, Harold Ferguson of Comanche, Texas and Ronald Ferguson of Mineral Wells, Texas.

A graveside service is scheduled at 11:15 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2022, at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
