Pamella "Pam" Sue Ellis

Pamella “Pam” Sue Ellis, 61, of Weatherford went home to eternal rest in Fort Worth surrounded by her family and friends, late on Wednesday evening, November 20, 2019, one day following her 37th Wedding Anniversary.

Pam was born June 21,1958, in Landstuhl, Germany, to John Bailey and Colleen Ann Doss. Pam and “Rusty” Ellis married on November 19, 1982 after finding each other following the loss of their first spouses. Both Pam and Rusty brought sons into their new family, surrounded by love. The four of them served their families with all their heart. Pam was a peacemaker who was ready to listen and to help in any way she could. She had a heart for helping and serving others – particularly children. Pam had a passion for taking care of children with special needs. Pam enjoyed doing crafts including crocheting and knitting as gifts for others. Additionally, she enjoyed cooking, canning, reading, and taking walks with her family and friends. Pam cherished time spent with her family – particularly her grandchildren.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband, Rusty of 37 years; her sons, Ryan Nicholas and Jacob Wayne and wife, Amanda; her grandchildren, Eoghan and Taygen; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her siblings, Debbie, John, and Mike.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, at South Main Church of Christ, 201 S. Main Street, in Weatherford. Visitation with the family will be held Sunday afternoon, November 24, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.
