Patsy Ann Loftis

Pat grew up in Weatherford, Texas and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1961. Pat was the oldest daughter born to James Royce and Lois Oglesby.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Don Oglesby; her son, Derek Loftis; and her daughter, Joy Loftis.

She is survived by her husband, Pastor Ray Loftis; daughters: Lori Jennings, Tammy DeRamus and husband Charles, Teresa Steward and husband Larry; and her sisters, Linda Emmons, Nancy Trichel and husband Roland, and Sherry Corley and husband Keith. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous extended family members.

Pat Loftis was a devout Christian woman who loved her Lord with all heart, all her soul, and all her mind (Matthew 22:37). She showed loving kindness to everyone she met and was a neighbor to anyone in need. She loved to tell people about her Jesus, she loved to sing the old gospel hymns and she loved to join in fellowship with other believers. Pat was a sweet and kind Christian woman who taught her family and others what being a true Christian was all about. She showed love, she showed patience, she showed kindness, she showed compassion, and she showed forgiveness. Pat always had a beautiful smile on her face and a sparkle in her eyes. She loved her life, her family, and her friends. She will be forever in our hearts.
