Patty Jean Myrick Turpin

Patty Jean Myrick Turpin, 77, of Weatherford, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning April 19, 2010 after a lengthy illness.  “Mee maw” as known by all was born on January 12, 1933. Pat was a registered nurse since 1953 in both Weatherford and Fort Worth hospitals until her retirement in 1993. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Tyson Patton Teague and his father Rockne Teague on February 9, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 57 years; Bobby Jean Turpin, son, Doug Turpin and wife Carol, Carla Turpin Bacoccini and husband Tony, Teresa Turpin Teague, eight grandchildren, Sarah, Holly, Douglas and Taylor Turpin, Katy and Jamie Teague, Amber Markalonis and Lindsey Boland. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 5-7 pm in the Chapel at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  A private interment will be held at a later date.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Shriner Children’s Hospital.
