Patty Ray Benton

Patty Ray Benton, 59, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, October 25, 2006 in the local hospital.  Born July 7, 1947 in Aransas Pass to Harold and Maxine Martin, both precede her in death. Patty was a mail clerk at the CCA Corrections Corporation of America in Mineral Wells. Survivors: Husband – Terry Dale Benton of Weatherford. Daughters – Sherry Benton and husband Steve Wolfe of Illinois, Patsy Benton of Fort Worth. Son – Terry W. Benton of Fort Worth. Sister – Billie Massey of Weatherford, Mona Maxine Surginer and husband Pete of Weatherford. Brother – Harold D. Martin and wife Pat of Mesquite. Eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Graveside service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2006 in the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 P.M. Friday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
