Paul Edward Belding, 72, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, February 1. 2012 in a Fort Worth hospital. Paul was born August 14, 1939 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Charles and Dorothy Belding. He was retired from General Motors and was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church where he helped with Friendship Kids and volunteered at the food bank. He enjoyed delivering meals on wheels for several years. Mr. Belding coached Little League Football and Baseball in Haltom City and Weatherford. He was an avid TCU fan from 1959 until February 1, 2012. Mr. Belding was president of Trinity River Beagle Club, president of Lone Star Beagle Association, secretary treasurer of Texoma Beagle Club and was a judge for AKC Beagle Field Trials. Mr. Belding was president of the Dilbeck Cemetery Association, he also helped with the reading programs at Curtis Elementary School from 1998-2011. Mr. Belding loved his family. He always said “I am a rich man, my family is my treasure”. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Belding of Weatherford, daughter, Beth Sipos and husband David of Little Elm, sons, Ed Belding and wife Peggy of Weatherford, Dr. David Belding and wife Angela of Weatherford, sister, Janice Manning and husband Murl of Fayetteville, Arkansas, brother Maurice George Belding and wife Marla of Guthrie, OK, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one more great grandchild on the way. Memorial service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Friendship Baptist Church. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
