Paul Jr Melson

Paul Melson, Jr. age 69, of Weatherford, died Sunday evening, December 26, 2010 in an Arlington Hospital.  Born March 5, 1941 in Weatherford, Texas, where he had lived all his life.  He was a retired machinist from Manasco, member of the Presbyterian Church and he loved fishing, reading, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.  He also received great joy from his two cats.   Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Marianne Melson, sisters, Jean Wiggs Feemster Andrews, Jimmie Wiggs Dollar and a brother, Alton Wiggs. Paul is survived by his daughters, LeOnna Gallucci and husband, Patrick of Keller and Melissa Lane and husband, Colin of Euless; son, Mitch Melson and wife, Kristy, of Woodland Park, Colorado; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sisters, Pauline Saul, of Nevada, Sherry Clark of Brock and Faye Edwards of Burleson; brothers, Richard Wiggs of Roanoke and Marx Wiggs of Weatherford; ex-spouse and mother of his children, Patricia Loiacano Melson; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral service: 10 AM, Friday, December 31, 2010 in the Galbreaith Pickard Chapel with interment in East Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the funeral home.
