Paul Phillips

Paul Phillips, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 2 PM at First United Methodist Church in Weatherford with Rev. Kent Marrs officiating.
Paul was born October 7, 1927 to Clyde and Ada Phillips in Plainview, Texas.  He was a longtime resident and member of the First United Methodist Church.  He was a dentist in Weatherford from 1967- October 2013.  Paul was a member of the Zoning Board and Utility Board in Weatherford for many years. He married Grace Holden April 6, 1950 in Clyde, Texas.  Paul graduated from Texas Tech in 1947 and Baylor Dental School in 1967. He was a Master Mason and Shriner and Past President of the Rotary Club.
He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Grace Phillips of Weatherford; daughters, Barbara Phillips-Farley and husband, Michael of Canton, New York and Karen Phillips of Austin, Texas; son, Vincent Phillips and wife, Meggan of Bakersville, California; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
