Paul Stephen Frazier, 69, passed from this life on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Paul was born August 4, 1953, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Carl Stephen Frazier and Clara Veronica (Bauer) Frazier. He graduated from JJ Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas in 1971. He first attended Stephen F. Austin State University where he met his wife, Paula. In 1972, he transferred to SMU with an ROTC Scholarship and also was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. After graduation from SMU in 1976 with a Bachelor’s Degree, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. After his obligation to the USAF, he worked on an oil barge in the North Sea for two years. Upon returning to the United States, he embarked upon a career in the oil and gas industry, working mainly for and retiring from National Oilwell Varco.
Paul was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros. Paul’s greatest gift was his ability to be friends with everyone he met. More than any other life experience, Paul loved and cherished his family beyond measure. Paul adored his beautiful wife, Paula, and he was proud to be dad to his son, Stephen, and later, grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his loving family and his community of friends.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Paula Jean Frazier of Weatherford, Texas; son, Stephen Frazier and wife, Chelsea of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Kinleigh, Alden, and Gioia; siblings, David Frazier and wife, Cheryl of Austin, Colorado, Carolyn Norton and husband, Rick of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Bill Frazier and wife, Carol, of Spring, Texas; many nieces and nephews; and his lifelong best friend, Stephen Barfield.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Galbreaith Pickard Hilltop Chapel at 4941 Interstate 20 Frontage Road, Willow Park, Texas 76087.
