Paul Trammell Cox, Jr.

Paul Trammell Cox, Jr., 86, of Weatherford passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at his residence. He was born June 17, 1936, in Spiro, Oklahoma to Paul Trammell Cox, Sr. and Lenzie Cureton Cox. Paul retired from the Army Corps of Engineers after 30 years of employment. He then worked for Kraft Foods for 10 years. He was a faithful member of North Side Baptist Church. Paul loved feeding the fish in his back yard and enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Paul Cox and his sister, Jane Ann McDaniel.

Paul is survived by his wife of 67 years, Billie "B.J." Cox, sons; Mirick Trammell Cox and wife Debbie and Terry Alex Cox and wife Ginger; grandchildren, Stefean Cox, Greyson Cox, Taryn Cox, Kylie Cox, Sydney Eshbaugh, Evan Cox, Audrey Cox, and Weston Cox; as well as his sister, Deborah Cox.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2022, at North Side Baptist Church, with interment to follow in East Greenwood Cemetery.
