Retired SMGT Paul Carlton Warnack, age 93, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025. He was born on May 17, 1931, in Varnell, Georgia, to Carlton Warnack and Edith (Winstead) Warnack as the third of nine children.
Paul honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Known as "Preacher Paul" for his faith and dedicated ministry, he was a charter member of Windmill Church of Christ and retired after years of ministry to the Church of Christ. He also had a passion for traveling.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Edith Warnack; wife, Doris Townsend; son, Duane Warnack; brothers, Max, Harold, James, and Robert; and sisters, Alzada and Charlotte.
Paul is survived by his children, Michael Warnack, Paula See and husband Brad, and Michele Tunnel and husband Jason; daughter-in-law, Dawn Bernhoft-Warnack; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and brothers, Wayne and Boyd Lynn and wife Deanna.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Windmill Church of Christ, 4839 Tin Top Road, Weatherford, Texas 76087 or to the charity of your choice.
