On Sunday, December 20th, 2020, Paula Kaye Dale, or as many called her Nanny Jack, patient wife and mother, passed away at age 72. Paula was born on August 13th, 1948, to Marvin and Lillian Wallace, in Fort Worth, Texas. Growing up with two sisters and two brothers, Paula knew boundless kindness, as well as knew how to stand up for herself.
Paula graduated from Brewer High School in 1966, and kept in touch with many of the friends she made there until the end. In 1965, Paula and Jackie Dale met and fell in love, and two years later in 1967, they were married. They planted their roots in Weatherford, Texas where Paula and Jackie had two daughters, Karen and Debbie.
Paula never seemed to meet a stranger, and welcomed many people into her life with open arms. She loved traveling with Jackie to rodeo events, hanging out with her five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, watching the Texas Rangers play and going on lunch dates with her girlfriends. Paula and Jackie worshipped together at Windmill Church of Christ, in Weatherford, Texas.
Paula will be remembered for her compassion, charm, and stellar sense of style. She will be deeply missed by all that were blessed with the opportunity to know her. She was so loved during her lifetime.
Paula is survived by her husband, Jackie; her daughters, Karen and Debbie; her siblings, Leslie, Andrea, and Rodger; her five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Lillian; brother, David; and best pals, Fidget and Henry Jay.
Public grave-side service will be held on Monday, December 28th, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at East Greenwood Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas.
