Paula Sue Runyon

September 22, 1942 — December 24, 2006

Paula Runyon, 64, of Weatherford, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2006 in a Fort Worth hospital, following a fierce battle with cancer. Paula was born September 22, 1942, the first child born to A.E. “Sambo” and Lucille Craig – Ticknor in Fort Worth.  Known as Nana, Granny and Grandma, she was a very hard working and independent lady. Many will remember Paula and her husband, Chuck as being the previous owners of Two Heels and a Loafer shoe repair for over 15 years. She was also the owner of Double Feature Clothing Store and a partner of the Parker County Advertiser. Paula was known for her quick wit, laughter and above all her wonderful cooking.  She loved to read, work in her flower garden, and most of all being the rock and foundation of her family, we will miss her greatly.  A special thanks to Dr. Connie Craig and Cathy Dorsett for helping Mom on her journey home. Waiting in Heaven are her parents and her beloved brother Douglas Craig.   Paula is survived by her husband of 39 years Charles Runyon; sons, Randy Dorsett and wife Cathy of Hurst and Robert Runyon and wife Barbara of Hewitt; daughters, Tiffany Milligan and Jennifer Runyon both of Weatherford    brothers; Gary Craig and wife Connie of Hewitt and Ricky Craig and wife Vicky of Springtown; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren with two on the way; eleven nieces and nephews, fourteen great nieces and nephews. Graveside: There will be a gathering of friends Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel from 12:00 to 1:00 PM followed by a graveside at Zion Hill Cemetery with Brother Andy officiating.
