Pauline Cortez-Leal

Pauline Cortez-Leal, 86, of Weatherford passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008. Mrs. Cortez-Leal was born July 26, 1921, in Rio Frio to Santiago and Sarah Albarado. She was a longtime resident of Weatherford and a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church. She will be missed greatly by all those that loved her. Her memory will live forever in our hearts. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Genaro Cortez; and a son, Eddie Cortez. Survivors: Her husband, Louis; son, Rick Cortez and special friend, Lynn McMahan, of Weatherford; daughter in law; Judy Cortez Puryear of Weatherford, grandchildren, Mark Edward Cortez and wife, Rosie, and their children, Sophia and Mia of Fort Worth, Lori Crepps and husband, Jim, and their children, Jade and Dylan of Minneapolis, Minn., Jordan Cortez of Dallas and Jillian Cortez and her daughter, Angelina, of Weatherford; stepsons, Louis Leal Jr., Ernest Leal and Albert Leal, all of Weatherford; sisters, Tina DeLeon and Molly Gonzalez of Leakey and Mary Alice Morales of Uvalde; brothers, Juan Albarado and Jim Albarado of Rio Frio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
