Ralph Duwayne Guiles, age 61, passed away at his home in Weatherford on December 19, 2012. He was born on November 16, 1951 to Ralph Maurice and Elizabeth Guiles in Weatherford, Texas. Ralph was the grandson of Ralph and Madge Guiles and Alfred and Jessie Young. He attended Weatherford High School until April 1969. He proudly served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was wounded. Ralph received the Purple Heart for his service.
He leaves behind his mother, Elizabeth Tipton of Weatherford; daughter, Amy Ingram and husband, Rob of Paradise, TX; mother of his daughter, Brenda Guiles Allen of Weatherford; grandchildren: Nash, Kimber and Beau Ingram all of Paradise, Texas; sisters, Marcia Chrane of Fort Worth, Tricia Greenwood of Azle, Carol Webb of Weatherford and Suzan Singleton of Terrell; step-brothers, Terry Tipton of Lucerne Valley, CA, and Phillip Tipton of Kingsland, Georgia; step-sisters, Cecilia Stiles of Kingman, AZ and Cora Stokes of North Bend, WA; girlfriend, Suzanne Greene of Weatherford; uncle, Derrell Guiles of Fort Worth; several nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Special Thanks to Covenant Hospice Care and Milton and Donna Graves for their care and concern during his illness. His remains will be buried at Long Creek Cemetery and a memorial service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 22, 2012 at his home.
Services are under the direction of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
