Randy Eugene Lawson

Randy Eugene Lawson, 71, of Weatherford, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. He was born November 9, 1950 in Watonga, Oklahoma to Donald Earl and Billie Joyce Nowlin Lawson. Randy was a member of the Church of God of Cleveland, Tennessee, as well as a pastor for many years. He had a shepherd's heart, loved being a minister and often referred to himself as a teacher of the word rather than a preacher. Randy lovingly raised his family, Grandchildren and NUMEROUS nieces and nephews as the children of His heart. 

His parents and brother, Rick (Poke) Lawson preceded him in death. 

Randy is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Nancy Jo Lawson; children, Tiffeny Blevins and husband, Michael; Tara Wiggins and husband, Shawn; grandchildren, Dusty, Nicholas and Victoria Blevins, Lawson and Analise Wiggins and Maximillion Heinrich; siblings, Kathy Price and husband, Gary, Karen Lawson, Rusty Lawson, and Kara Lawson.

Visitation: 7-9 pm, Friday, February 18, 2022 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Memorial service: 11 am, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Real Family Fellowship, 202 Pearson Lane in Azle, Texas 76020.
