Randy Gomes, 59, of Millsap, passed away on Monday evening, April 15, 2019, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 P.M., Friday, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Randy was born on September 22, 1959, in San Diego, California to David and Rosemerry Gomes. On June 30, 1991, he married the love-of-his life, Rachelle Duncan. Randy worked for Pulliam Pools for over 25 years. He enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as being a “mentor to many” who enjoyed “keeping people in line.” Randy’s most famous expression was “friends are for sissies.” Most of all, Randy will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Randy is survived by his wife, Rachelle; daughter, Melissa (Kristopher) Keeling; his grandson, Channing Keeling; his mother, Rosemerry Baron; and by his siblings, Amanda Kaake, Sherry Wynne, David Gomes and Alexander Joseph Barron.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, David Gomes.
