Mildred "Rayleen" Wiggins Smyrl, age 82 of Weatherford, passed away on Sunday morning, January 26, 2014 at Holland Lake Nursing Center. Rayleen was born September 14, 1931, in Fort Worth. In addition to being a wonderful mother, wife and grandmother, she was a life long member of the Methodist Church. She attended Millsap schools and was a retired nurse for Dr. Joe T. Nelson. Rayleen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert Smyrl and her parents Deedie Ray and Willie Mae Wiggins and a son, Robert, Jr. Rayleen was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Coalson and a brother, Monty Wiggins.

Son - Danny Smyrl and wife Kathie of Weatherford
Daughter – Debra Armstrong and husband, Brad of Fort Worth
Grandchildren – Lindsay Smyrl, Jerod Smyrl, Doug Dowd and wife Kristy,
Melissa and Jeremy Teague
Great Grandchldren – Aidan Smyrl, Kaden, Isaiah, and Emma Dowd
Sisters – Karen Hunter and husband, Wayne
Barbara Parker and husband, Jack
Brother – Donald Wiggins and wife, Juanell
Many loving nieces and nephews
She is also survived by a faithful and loving group of friends and caregivers who were dedicated to her care and comfort in the last months of her life. They included the staff of Holland Lake Nursing Center and staff of Covenant Hospice and Palliative Care.
Funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, January 29, 2014, in the Galbreaith Pickard Chapel with interment in East Greenwood Cemetery.
