Raymond Charles “Boomer” Koopman, 42, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2008.Raymond Koopman was born June 6, 1965. He was a very loving dad, brother and friend — a man that never met a stranger. Ray served in the Army for 17 years. He also proudly served Hudson Oaks/Willow Park Police Force. He was recognized as an outstanding officer. One of Ray’s greatest accomplishments was implementing the Path Finder Juvenile Boot Camp for trouble kids. Ray’s passions were fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling and hanging out with family and friends. He was very quick witted and funny guy. Ray touched the hearts of many.He may be gone from our home but never our hearts.Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Winfrey; father, Raymond Koopman; and three uncles, Ronnie, Steve and Warren.Survivors include sons, Devon, Jake; three daughters, Tristian, Dallas, Karen; grandson, Presley; girlfriend and special angel, Marryann Eastman; a loving pal, Montana (his dog); two brothers and four sisters, Belinda and Randy Fort of South Carolina, Joe and Kandi Cooper, Eric and Stephanie Cooper, Monica and G.W White, Sandra and James Crawford, Tracy and Dale Swink; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous friends he considered his extended family.Memorial service         1 p.m. Thursday, Jan 17, at Center Point Baptist ChurchBurial             Tin Top Cemetery
