Raymond Mitchell Hardin, Jr. went home to be with the Lord at 5:33 AM,Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Plaza Medical ICU after battling complications from colon cancer surgery on Feb. 11, 2009. He was born January 2nd, 1932 inWeatherford to Raymond Mitchell Hardin, Sr. and Lucille Hardin Miller, who preceded him death, as well as a son, Raymond Mitchell Hardin III, sisterLouvelle, Billie Haynes and brothers-in-law, Robert Haynes and John Qualls.Raymond devoted fifty four years of service to the Lord by serving as Ministerof Music in many Southern Baptist Churches in Texas and Oklahoma. He spent sixteen years at Center Point Baptist Church and nearly twelve years at Soda Springs Baptist Church. He helped establish New Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Harper.
