Rheubin Lee McCoy, 73, a retired carpenter, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at his residence in Weatherford. Born January 31, 1933 in Gordon, Texas, he was a retired carpenter, former truck driver, musician, a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, VFW Post 4746 and an Army Veteran. 

Rheubin was preceded in death by his daughter, Kitty Taylor, son, Doyle McCoy, parents, three brothers, four sisters, a grandson, 1 great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Graveside:  2:00 P.M. Monday, September 25, 2006 in the Granbury City Cemetery. 

Visitation:  2-4 P.M. Sunday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. 

Survivors:  Wife; Nora McCoy of Weatherford; daughters, Janie Sherman and husband Ricky of Haltom City, Lynn Sager and husband Calvin of Azle, Shelia Barksdale and husband Bruce of Weatherford, Ethel Lynn McCoy of Joshua; son, David Taylor and wife Cindy of Santo; sister, Emma Anderson of Fairfield, TX; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
