Richard Dale Thompson

Richard Dale Thompson, 48, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021. He was born September 3, 1972, in Odessa, Texas. Richard worked for Lynd Fueling Systems for 15 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He adored his grandchildren and especially enjoyed spoiling them. Richard also enjoyed listening to music and working in his shop. 

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Belynda Thomas Thompson; children, Samantha Thompson, Mark Thompson, Briana Thompson, Bethany Morgan, Cordell Morgan and wife, Bayleigh, Victoria Thompson, Chance Thompson and wife, Daisy, and Zander Thompson; mother and father, Linda Julian and Ray Julian; siblings, Tammy Kessler, Shelley Thompson and Tyra McCune Ellichman; 12 grandchildren; aunts and uncles, James and D’Ann Bone and Betty Wilkerson. Richard is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family members and friends.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Funeral service: 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 27, 2021, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
