Ricky Dee Jennings, 73, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, following a brief illness, in Fort Worth.
Due to COVID-19 limitations, a graveside committal service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at the Newberry Cemetery, in Millsap.
Ricky was born on July 24, 1947, in Fort Worth, to Cecil and Lucille Jennings. Ricky worked for Bell Helicopter for 33 years prior to his retirement in 2007 as an experimental blade Inspector. He was a 40 year Mason, receiving the rank of 32nd Degree Free Mason. Additionally, he was a member of the Eastern Star, the Moslah Shriners, Super Excellent Master Mason Degree, Part of the Royal Arch Chapter and Worth Commandery No. 19, and the ROJ Court 32. He was past-President of the Parker County Shriner Club, and Life member of Car-Vettes. In addition, he was a Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 151 of Saginaw, Texas. Ricky enjoyed trap and skeet shooting, hunting, fishing, and volunteering his time.
Ricky is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Fae of 23 years; his sons, Travis Jennings, and Tracey and wife, Lisa Farry-Jennings; his step-daughter, Tonya and husband, Jeff Watson; grandchildren, Jessica Jennings, Sarah Jennings, Miles Jennings, Shelly and husband, Mark Munoz, and Brandy Watson; great-grandchildren, Cayden, Mark, and Rosa Munoz; his sister, Laura Jennings Jabali and husband, Shaker Jabali; niece, Nadia Jabali, Natasha and husband, Patrick Barrett; and nephew, Laith Jabali.
In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his nephew, Bassam Jabali.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
